THE ADVENTURE

A PILGRIMAGE. WITH THE PACE TURNED UP.

Starting in Reading, we’ll follow the St James Way south through the English countryside towards our final destination in Southampton.

It’s a journey normally completed over five to seven days. We’re giving ourselves three.

That means three substantial days of walking, waking up each morning with yesterday’s miles still in your legs and knowing there’s another big day ahead.

But that’s also what makes a multi-day adventure special. You’ll travel through changing landscapes, share the experience with the same group each day and watch the miles gradually build into one complete journey.

We’ll take care of the accommodation and provide vehicle support along the way, leaving you to concentrate on something much simpler:

Keep walking south. Southampton is waiting.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

THREE DAYS. ONE FINISH LINE.

You don’t need to be a mountain climber to complete the St James Way, but don’t mistake the absence of summits for an easy weekend.

The difficulty comes from doing it again tomorrow.

Long-distance walking creates a different kind of fatigue. Feet get sore, legs become heavy and each morning you’re asking your body to start again before it has fully recovered from the day before.

That’s why preparation for this event is as much about building endurance and back-to-back walking days as it is about outright fitness.

If you love the idea of travelling somewhere entirely on foot and watching a three-day journey unfold one mile at a time, this could be exactly the adventure you’re looking for.

We’ll take care of the logistics and support. You concentrate on reaching Southampton.
