Ben Nevis

Take on the UK’s highest peak with our Ben Nevis event! Standing at 1,345 metres, Ben Nevis offers a stunning and rewarding climb through the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Our fully guided challenge takes you on the classic Mountain Track (also known as the Tourist Path) – a well-marked but steep and demanding route with spectacular views at every turn.

This is a physically tough day out, involving around 8 hours of hiking, steep ascents, and variable mountain weather conditions. Our experienced mountain leaders will support you every step of the way, helping you navigate the terrain safely while soaking in the breathtaking Highland scenery. Whether you’re aiming to push your limits, raise money for charity, or simply tick Ben Nevis off your bucket list, this challenge offers an unforgettable adventure.

Who Is This Event For?

This event is perfect for fit and determined walkers who are ready to tackle a serious mountain challenge. While no technical climbing skills are required, you’ll need a good level of fitness and stamina to manage the long ascent and descent over rough, uneven terrain.

It’s ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors, love a physical challenge, and want to experience the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. If you’re prepared to train beforehand and embrace changing weather conditions, this guided climb will be an incredible achievement and a memory to cherish.

You Will Need To Bring:

  • Suitable walking boots (with ankle support)
  • Appropriate clothing for the walk
  • Waterproof Jacket and trousers
  • Spare warm layer
  • Hat and gloves
  • Food, snacks and water (minimum 1.5 litre’s) for the walk
  • Camera to capture the adventure (optional)
  • Walking poles (optional)

Once you’ve registered, we’ll pass your contact details to your selected charity. They’ll then get in touch to support you with your fundraising journey and offer any guidance you need. Your charity will also let you know which fundraising platform they prefer you to use, helping you get set up and ready to start raising those all-important donations.

Please Note:

The walk will take place in most weather but the leader will reserve final judgement on the day (in most cases) and maintains the right to abandon any walk if they feel the safety of themselves or any participant is at risk.
