Street to Summit Challenge

The Street to Summit challenge is a free virtual event designed to get you moving, motivated, and connected to the mountains, no matter where you live.

Here’s how it works: You pick a mountain you’d love to reach. We’ll calculate the distance from your home to its summit. Over the next 30 days, you’ll work toward completing that journey step by step, simply by walking, running, or hiking in your own neighborhood or local trails.

Whether it’s the rugged Scafell Pike, the iconic Snowdon, or the UK’s highest peak, Ben Nevis, Street to Summit transforms your everyday walks into a meaningful adventure. Track your progress, stay active, and feel the satisfaction of “reaching the summit” – all from your own street.

It’s simple, free, and a great way to challenge yourself or take part with friends and family.

Fundraise for a Good Cause

This event is also part of our Winter Charity Challenge series – a fantastic way for charities and fundraisers to keep momentum going over the colder months.

Sign up, choose your favourite cause, and raise money as you work towards your goal. There’s no set fundraising target – you decide the amount you want to aim for, and we’ll cheer you on every step of the way. It’s the perfect mix of personal achievement and making a difference.

How It Works
  1. Register for free – Sign up and provide your home address.

  2. Choose your mountain – Pick a summit that inspires you.

  3. We calculate the distance – We’ll work out the distance from your front door to the summit.

  4. Walk it in 30 days – Use your daily walks, runs, or hikes to cover the distance.

  5. Celebrate your summit – Once you’ve completed the journey, you’ll have virtually reached the top!

  6. Download your certificate and shout from your summit!
