The Yorkshire Three Peaks. Located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park lie the iconic three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. Your challenge is to summit all three peaks in 12 hours.
Your first summit of the day will see you ascend 2,227 feet to the top of Pen-y-ghent, where there will be no time to rest, as you trek on through midday and towards your second summit, Whernside, the highest peak at 2,415 feet.
Finally the afternoon will lead you on to your third and final summit, up 2,372 feet to the top of Ingleborough. With awe-inspiring views and an immense sense of achievement, you will descend back into Horton-in-Ribblesdale and the finish of your 26mile challenge.

The National Three Peaks Challenge is often viewed as the toughest outdoor challenge in the UK and requires a high level of fitness and some real determination to successfully complete.

Your challenge is to summit the three highest peaks of England, Scotland and Wales, within 24 hours.
Your first summit will see you ascend 1,345m to the summit of Ben Nevis. The highest mountain in Scotland and the largest in the British Isles. There will be no time to hang around as we quickly descend back to the transport and make our way to the second mountain of the day. Standing at 978m in the heart of the Lake District is Scafell Pike, England’s highest summit. You will be tackling this mountain in the days last light and descending in darkness.
Finally we make our way to our third summit, Snowdon. Standing at 1085m will be a real test of endurance and determination as the clock ticks down and energy levels run low we take on Wales’ highest peak before quickly descending to reach the finish line.
There you will feel an immense sense of achievement and enjoy a well earned cooked breakfast. Elite Adventures style.

The Welsh Three Peaks Challenge. You’ve probably heard numerous mentions from friends of the National three peaks and perhaps even the Yorkshire Three Peaks, but the Welsh Three Peaks are much lesser known, but equally as difficult. This challenge see’s you take on Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan all within 24 hours. As there is much less driving than the more popular National event this time is much more flexible with groups often aiming to complete the challenge within 14 hours. The main difference being that there is alot less rest time before your back out the minibus and taking on another huge summit.
