3 Peaks in 3 Days

Ready to conquer the UK’s most iconic mountains at a more achievable pace? This incredible challenge takes on the National Three Peaks – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) – over three consecutive days, giving you time to enjoy the views, soak in the experience, and tackle each summit without the pressure of a 24-hour deadline.

We begin with travel to Fort William on Thursday, where you’ll enjoy a team meal and overnight stay. Then it’s one mountain per day: Ben Nevis on Friday, Scafell Pike on Saturday, and Snowdon on Sunday – with expert guides leading the way and plenty of time to take in the stunning surroundings.

Although this challenge offers a more relaxed schedule than the classic 24-hour version, it’s still a physically demanding experience, covering 26 miles (42 km) and a total ascent of 3,000 m (9,843 ft). We strongly recommend regular training in advance to ensure you’re ready to enjoy the adventure.

Each climb typically takes 6–8 hours, depending on group pace. Upon registration, you’ll receive a detailed event pack, including your 12-week training plan, kit list, and everything you need to prepare for this unforgettable mountain journey.

On this challenge, we take the longer but more scenic routes up each mountain, allowing you to fully appreciate the breathtaking landscapes and make the most of the experience.

Difficulty: Tough
Duration: 3 Days
Distance: 26 Miles

Who is This Event For?

The 3 Peaks in 3 Days Challenge is designed for those who want to push themselves physically and mentally while soaking up some of the UK’s most spectacular mountain scenery. Whether you’re a regular hiker or looking to step up your trekking game, this is a serious challenge – and one that requires commitment and preparation.

Each day involves 6-8 hours of walking on steep, rugged terrain, and while the pace is more relaxed than the 24-hour version, don’t be fooled – multi-day hiking is demanding and easy to underestimate. To fully enjoy the experience and support the group, you’ll need a good base level of fitness and must train in advance.

We provide a full 12-week training plan in your event pack to help you build the endurance and strength needed to take on all three mountains safely and confidently.

You’ll be fully supported by a qualified mountain leader throughout the journey, ensuring your safety and allowing you to focus on the challenge, the teamwork, and the incredible views – but preparation is key to making the most of this unforgettable adventure.
