The Great British Step-Off

Take part in The Great British Step Off – a fun, pun-filled virtual walking challenge inspired by the nation’s favourite baking show! Over 30 days, you’ll walk your way to the virtual summits of 20 UK mountains.

Each mountain has been converted into an average step count, so every step you take gets you closer to completing the challenge. Walk anywhere – your local streets, parks, or treadmill – and track your progress as you climb each peak virtually.

This challenge is completely free to join, but we encourage participants to register in support of a charity of their choice. All funds raised go directly to the chosen charity, and the charity will be in touch to help with your fundraising efforts.

Once you’ve completed all 20 mountains, you can download your certificate and celebrate your achievement. It’s a perfect way to kickstart the New Year, stay active during winter, and raise money for a good cause!

Fundraise for a Good Cause

This event is also part of our Winter Charity Challenge series – a fantastic way for charities and fundraisers to keep momentum going over the colder months.

Sign up, choose your favourite cause, and raise money as you work towards your goal. There’s no set fundraising target – you decide the amount you want to aim for, and we’ll cheer you on every step of the way. It’s the perfect mix of personal achievement and making a difference.

How It Works
  1. Sign up for the Great British Step-Off.

  2. Complete the total steps of each mountain (You choose the order but you can only complete 1 per day)

  3. Track your steps using your preferred fitness app or smartwatch.

  4. Once complete, download and print your certificate and let your followers know you’ve completed the challenge.

How to Take Part
  • Take on 1 mountain per day, in any order you like.

  • Track your activity using Strava, Garmin, Fitbit, or any fitness app.

  • Once you’ve completed the challenge, you can proudly download your certificate as a symbol of your hard-earned achievement.
