Moreton-in-Marsh to Blockley Circular
This 20.6km circular walk begins in Moreton-in-Marsh and weaves through a patchwork of landscapes, from rolling fields and farm tracks to quiet woodland paths. You’ll pass through Aston Magna, Paxford, Broad Campden, and the golden-stone village of Blockley, with the option to detour to the beautiful Batsford Park and Arboretum. Expect a mix of gentle countryside strolling and more challenging sections with uneven ground, overgrown paths, and some short road stretches. Livestock, including bulls, may be present on parts of the route, so awareness and care are important. With cafĂ©s and pubs dotted along the way – and public transport access right at the trailhead – this is a perfect day’s training walk with plenty of rural charm.
