Monyash and Youlgreave Circular
Starting in the charming village of Monyash, this 16.1km circular walk follows peaceful paths alongside the River Lathkill, where you’ll enjoy tranquil views, a picturesque waterfall, and the character of dry stone walls lining the route. You’ll pass atmospheric ruins and rolling countryside, making this walk as rich in history as it is in scenery. The terrain is varied but manageable, offering a great opportunity to build fitness and practise with your gear. With camping spots and amenities nearby, you can easily turn this into a longer adventure. Dogs are welcome, but be aware of livestock and wildlife along the way.
