Hadrian’s Wall Challenge
Have you ever wanted to take on the Roman Empires longest standing wall in the UK but worried the 135km and days of walking could be a little much all in one go, well now you can take on the virtual event and split the route up into smaller manageable distances.
For this challenge, you must achieve 135km within a 4 week period, you can head to your local hills on your daily exercise, or include your daily step count, once completed this well earned medal will be yours!
Those wishing to complete the challenge on their daily walking routes, simply use your smart watch to track the total distance achieved each day. You will be aiming for a total of 135km over the 4 week period.
How fast can you complete Hadrian’s Wall?
Whether you aim for 1 week, 2 weeks or the full 4 weeks, once completed send an email to our team and let us know how you got on.
How it works:
1) Sign up to the Virtual Challenge – Hadrian’s Wall
2) Complete all 135kmkm
3) Email your evidence to email@example.com on completion
4) Put your feet up and thank your supporters
5) Wait for the postman to drop off your medal!
Simply take a picture of your fitness tracker, watch or any other tech device which shows you have completed your challenge and send it to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name and the challenge you have completed. Haven’t got a tracking device? When signing up, you will automatically receive a printable tracking sheet sent direct to your inbox. During isolation we will also accept daily written logs or a picture of you at the end of your challenge with your time and distance written on a piece of paper – don’t forget to smile! Once we have received your photo’s, we will add you to the leader board and send your medal in the post.
All medals are subject to availability; we will aim to post medals within 3 days of evidence submission.
